Why choose a Champion manufactured, mobile or modular home?
For over 60 years, Champion has established a reputation for building quality manufactured homes, modular homes and mobile homes affordable to a wide array of homebuyers. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, part of a growing family or an active senior, our award-winning designs and customizable floor plans are the perfect complement to your lifestyle. The homes Champion builds are professionally designed and engineered – built by craftsmen to meet exacting national, state and local building codes. They’re also inspected at every phase of the construction process to ensure our unparalleled quality standards are met.

In addition to our own trusted name, you’ll see many others in the energy efficient cape cods, ranches and two-story homes we build, including Whirlpool®, Daltile®, Broan®, Georgia-Pacific® and more. Building material suppliers such as these share our dedication to quality components and home construction, and are just one of the reasons Champion is able to produce industry-leading designs.
Choosing one of our manufactured homes, modular homes or mobile homes gives you more than a place to live. It makes you part of a special community of discriminating homebuyers who’ll settle for nothing less than the best … nothing less than Champion.

Champion Homes utilizes high-quality materials to construct our manufactured homes, ensuring durability and performance.
From sturdy roofing and robust framing to energy-efficient windows and insulation, every component is selected to enhance the home’s longevity and comfort. You’re likely familiar with many of these components because we build our homes with the same materials used in traditional site-built homes.
You can rest easy knowing that our use of such material means your manufactured home is as reliable as any other on the market. It even complies with the H.U.D. code, ensuring that your new home meets stringent safety and quality standards concerning structural design, construction, fire safety, energy efficiency, and durability. By adhering to these federal standards, Champion Homes guarantees that each home meets and often exceeds industry expectations.
This is possible in part because Champion Homes’ manufacturing facilities feature state-of-the-art tools and equipment, allowing for precision craftsmanship and efficiency.
The construction process includes over 20 workstations where components like pre-wired electrical systems, plumbing, and finished carpentry work are completed.
In addition to our own quality audits, third-party inspectors evaluate the homes at multiple stages, certifying that each unit exceeds the necessary building codes.

Factory Construction Process
A sophisticated assembly line process helps optimize the construction of Champion Homes’ manufactured homes through:
-
Pre-Wiring and Plumbing: Electrical and plumbing systems are installed and tested.
-
Structural Assembly: Exterior and interior walls, roofs, and other structural components are added.
-
Finishing Touches: Painting, cabinet, door, and window installations, as well as other interior and exterior finishes, are completed.
-
Quality Assurance: Each module undergoes thorough inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable standards before being transported to the site for final assembly.
Site Installation
Once the modules are completed and inspected, they are transported to the building site on a steel chassis. The homes can be installed on various foundation types, including pier, crawl space, basement, or concrete foundation. Champion Homes' network of retailers and builders coordinates additional work on-site, such as connecting utilities, adding porches, decks, and garages, and completing any final items such as drywall and trim work.
Collaboration and Craftsmanship
The site work involves collaboration with local contractors and utilities to ensure everything is set up and completed correctly. This coordinated effort results in manufactured homes aselegant and distinctive as traditional homes, built with the precision and quality of modern factory techniques.
